Here comes another strong addition to the speculations of Apple’s iPhone 6, which also suggests that the company will be releasing its flagship phone in two different screen sizes.
The latest claim came from an ‘International Electronics Business’ analyst Sun Changxu of China, who revealed that the Apple will be launching 4.7-inch iPhone 6 with 1,136 x 640 display resolution and the company could release another 5.7-inch variant of the iPhone 6 with higher resolution, later. She also expected that according to the current situation, there is a possibility that iPhone 6 will be unveiled at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WDC) in coming June.
This is not the first time, where analysts and experts were talking about the 2 different sizes of the next-gen iPhone. There were many other similar rumors were surfaced such as Apple’s 5-inch iPhone 6 and the rumors about the company’s testing of as large as 6-inch iPhones. But, when we compared this statement by Changxu, the previous rumor about the 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhone 6 has got some similarity. Similarly, last week, DisplaySearch reported that the iPhone could come with a 5.5-inch display with 1,920 x 1,080 resolution.
You should note the point revealed by Apple CEO Tim Cook at the historic launching event of iPhone on China Mobile, where upon asking about the large screen iPhone, he said that the customers can expect some nice updates. He also stated that the Apple has some “Big Plans” in 2014, in his new years resolution. This would also suggest that the company is moving towards the bigger smartphones and even bigger iPads with 12-inch display.
