Most of us expect a grand launch of Sony’s Xperia Z1 successor smartphone flagship, Xperia Z2 in next month’s Mobile World Congress event at Barcelona. And, now we have received a bunch of screenshots of latest UI of Sony’s next smartphone modeled as D6503 and D6603, which is a galore of details related to the software as well as hardware specs.
The alleged smartphone was codenamed as “Sirus”, but the company could officially launch the device as the Xperia Z2. But, some specifications of this new leak is not tallying with the previous leaked specifications of Xperia D6503. We think that the current leaked photos are of D6603 handset. This device shows a 4.9-inch 1080p full HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8974-AB chipset with 2.3GHz processor, Adreno 330 GPU and 3GB of RAM. In the camera part, it boasts a 20.7-megapixel rear camera along with the 2.1-megapixel front camera.
Rumor factory suggests that the next set of Sony’ high-end smartphones to come with latest KitKat operating system, however the leaked screenshots shows that the alleged-device is still running on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. But, the company will be introducing its new UI along with the new smartphone. This is the second leak of an user interface for Android following the leak of Samsung’s alleged TouchWiz 2 UI with Tiles.
There are many changes made by the Sony to its UI as you can see in the images below, especially the Quick Settings management, Personalization menu, introduction of new “Modes,” etc. Just go through the attached screenshots and let us know your views.
