Motorola Moto G Dual-SIM debuted in Australia, selling for $265

Motorola’s dual-SIM version of Moto X (model:  XT1033) has surfaced in Australia and it’s selling for $265 for 8GB storage and $299 for 16GB storage, after discounts.


When Motorola launched the affordable range of Moto G smartphones, company officials said that the dual-SIM version of the smartphone will be coming soon, but no more details regarding the price and availability revealed anywhere and we expected it to come to Asian countries, where the Dual-SIM phones are much popular than any other part of the world.

Now the dual-SIM Moto G has landed in Australia, only handpicked online stores are selling the devices as of now and we could see a huge growth in sales of the budget-phone, Moto G in coming weeks. Currently the Value Basket Australia is selling the device for the above said price and only few devices with Black color option were available when editing of this news.

Motorola Australia’s official website also features the dual-SIM Moto G smartphone and it seems that the devices are just entering the market. This means, soon the Moto G smartphones will be at local stores as well as major online stores. We have found some online retailers selling the dual-SIM Moto G Australian version smartphones for as less as $245 at shopbot.com.au.

Australia was in the confirmed list of Moto G selling countries. Recently, Motorola announced that its flagship, Moto X will be launched in Eruopean countries – Germany, France and U.K on February 1. This suggests that the Google’s smartphone arm planned to steadily increase market share around the world.

It’s a known fact that Motorola is already dead in many countries such as India and Indonesia, but could the company rise like a phoenix in those countries with up-to-date service facility?

Regarding the specifications, the dual-SIM variant specs sheet is very similar to that of single-SIM smartphone. It boasts 4.5-inch 1280 x 720 HD (329 ppi) display, Android 4.3 Jelly Bean (4.4 KitKat coming, very soon), 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor, 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 1.3-megapixel front camera and non-removable 2,070mAh battery.
