Possible AT&T’s budget Samsung Galaxy S5 to boast 1080p display


AT&T’s Samsung Galaxy S5 variant SM-900A will be coming with 1080p display instead of expected QHD display, according to an user agent profile published on Samsung’s website.

However the device is said to be in AT&T’s prototype testing phase and the chance of being the final product to label as Galaxy S5 is very much less.

However, there are also many rumors surfaced that suggests that Samsung will be coming with more than one version of Galaxy S5 smartphones – one with a premium metal materials and another with classic plastic design. The premium device is also said to be coming with its own 64-bit Exynos 6 chipset, while the budget S5 to be featuring Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 805 processor. And now from this latest leaked specs sheet of AT&T model also suggest that there will be 2 type of displays on its Galaxy S5 variants.

Samsung could also introduce the eye “retina” scanner for security in its upcoming flagship Galaxy S5 smartphone in response to the fingerprint scanner revealed by Apple on its iPhone 5s devices.

It was expected that the Galaxy S5 could be launched at Next month’s MWC Barcelona event, but the recent development revealed that the flagship will not be launched ta the Mobile World Congress event, instead, it will be launched in separate launch event at New York city.
