It seems, Samsung has made some changes to its next flagship, Galaxy 5 smartphone launch as an anonymous executive of the company revealed that the smartphone will not be revealed at MWC event at Barcelona on February 24 to 27.
Two weeks ago one of the Samsung executives has revealed that the Galaxy S5 will be launching at MWC event, but this time, according to ZDNet Korea, another unnamed executive revealed the contradicting information that instead of MWC, Samsung will be launching the device at the separate New York event. However, there could be a parallel London event to launch the device for European countries.
There is also a rumor surfaced, which suggests that the company could also showcase some of its Tizen 3.0 gadgets along with other smartphones. Samsung already has a Tizen device and that is the NX300M camera. But, recently, a NTT DoCoMo representative released a statement that the organization behind Tizen will be revealing the Tizen-running devices in March, but later updated that the plan has been delayed due to development issues.
It’s also expected that the company will be revealing 2 versions of Samsung Galaxy S5, one with Plastic body and a metal body. Read our last rumor post about Galaxy S5, that pointed that there will be a eye-scanner included in the next-gen smartphone.
