Today, Google’s smartphone arm, Motorola announced that the flagship Moto X smartphones will be available in European countries such as France, UK and Germany from February 1st onwards at major retailers including Carphone Warehouse, Phones4u, O2, Techdata and Amazon.
With the price tag of £380, the unlocked SIM-free black color version of the Moto X will be on sale for all carriers in UK, while in selected carriers, you could also get the device for free with minimum of £25 per month postpaid contract. However, till April-end, only Phones4u will be selling the white version of the device exclusively.
The company hasn’t revealed much details on the availability part at France and Germany, but it said that the unlocked SIM-free version of Motorola Moto X will be selling at €429 in these countries.
The specifications remains the same as the U.S. models, but the important and the coolest marketing gimmick of Motorola, the Moto Maker customization feature hasn’t introduced to Europe along with the device. The 4.7-inch LTE-capable smartphone boasts a 720p AMOLED display, X8 custom chipset with 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro dual-core processor, 10MP rear camera with ClearPixel sensor for low-light photography, 2MP front camera, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage.
