As every month it does, Google has released the version distribution numbers of Android platform of December 2013, which shows the rise of the KitKat to 1.4% share and 4.3 Jelly Bean has spread on total of 59.1% of total Droids.
In the report of December 2013, Jelly Bean (Including 4.3 and 4.3) has spread its wings furthermore, near to 60%, while it has crossed the 50% share in last October. Despite sliding a 1.5% of share, Android 4.1 Ice Cream Sandwich build is still in 35.9% – highest installed single release of the platform.
Surprisingly Android 2.2 Froyo build still in the handsets of 1.3% of Android users, while 2.3 Gingerbread and Android 4.0 also tends to decline in the month with 2.9% and 1.7% drop, respectively. That means, many devices are being updated to at least Jelly Bean updates.
Meanwhile, tablet-only version of the OS, Android 3.2 Honeycomb is still in 0.1% of total devices, which was in the table since many months on the same figure.
