We know that LG has the plans to launch its webOS based internet connected smart TV at CES 2014 event along with the launching of HomeChat service, which let users to communicate and remotely control any LG household appliances with the help of LINE mobile messenger.

The new user interface seems to be changed a lot than LG’s previous smart TV OS as it was much like smartphone UI, but in the webOS, LG has introduced the “cards” like scrolling for applications which was retained from the original WebOS “cards” used on HP’s TouchPad tablets. Skype, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and other popular apps could be seen in the next generation LG webOS smart TVs.
