BLU Products has just unveiled two new smartphones in North America – a 5-inch Blu Studio 5.0 II and a 4-inch Blu Advance 4.0, both running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
Both the new Android smartphones are with dual-SIM capability and powered by Taiwanese 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6572 dual-core processors with Mali-400 GPU and supports multiple bands to work with all GSM and 4G HSPA+ networks in North America.
The Studio 5.0 II has a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, IPS display, 2,000mAh battery and HSPA+ connectivity as the fastest option, while the Blu Advance 4.0 has a WVGA display, 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash, 1,600mAh battery and the HSPA support.
The Blu Studio 5.0 II is the successor of the first Studio 5.0 smartphone, which was released in April 2013 for $139. In last October, BLU announced a 5.5-inch Studio 5.5 Smartphone for only $179 off contract, and now, the Studio 5.0 II is priced at $139, while Advance 4.0 is priced at $89 – both off contract.
Samuel Ohev-Zion, CEO of the Blu Products, said:
“BLU Products has seen an unprecedented increase in demand for our smartphone lineup in the United States. We have responded by introducing handsets which will work on every GSM carrier and network in North America, making it easier for consumers looking to purchase a no contract BLU unlocked device, now offering the consumer no limitations when choosing a network service provider.”
