After the rumors and recent teaser by the company, Samsung has finally announced the Galaxy J smartphones SGH-N075T in Taiwan for major four carriers – Chunghwa Telecom, Vibo Telecom, Taiwan Mobile, and FarEasTon.
First appeared in Japan, Samsung Galaxy J will be on sale from next week in Taiwan and the unlocked device will sell at approximately $740 (21,900 TWD). Only Satin White and Coral Pink color options available as of now, but the Lapis Blue colored device seen in Japan is missing here and expected to come in few weeks to Taiwan.
Samsung Galaxy J is a mixture of Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy S4 in features and design. With 5-inch Super AMOLED 1080p display, rounded rectangular design of the body, plastic backpanel keeps the device in between the two of the above high end Samsung smartphones. Although the device supports Galaxy Gear smartwatch out of the box, it won’t come with the stylus pen option that available in Note 3.
It comes with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974) quad-core 2.3GHz processor with 3GB of RAM (similar to Note 3), 13.2-megapixel rear camera, 2.1-megapixel front camera, 2600mAh battery, 32GB phone storage wit upto 64GB expandable microSD card slot, 3G, LTE, WiFi, NFC and GPS/A-GPS as key specifications.
