T-Mobile’s Nokia Lumia 521 is almost identical to the international version of Lumia 520 but with the T-Mobile’s logo printed on its front screen and rear panel. However the sales page doesn’t reveals any details related to whether its a SIM-free or SIM-locked to T-Mobile. It is better to cross check with the Walmart before considering a buy of this device, if you are hailing from different service provider.

Similar to Lumia 520, Nokia Lumia 521 runs on Windows Phone 8 OS with Lumia Amber on top of it. There are also few speculations spreading in internet related to the Windows Phone 8 GDR3 update with Lumia Black update, which suggests that the update is coming soon. Even, Microsoft recently announced that the WP 8.1 update will be rolling out to all existing WP8 smartphones.

It also comes with a Qualcomm dual-core 1GHz processor, 5MP Auto Focus camera, 720p HD video recording at 30fps, 8GB phone memory with upto 64GB expandable microSD card slot, 1430mAh battery, WiFi (802.11b/g/n/e) and Quad-band 4G UMTS/HSPA+ 42 support.
