The third generation of Ford Mustang Bullitt is ready to take the wheel, revealing new looks and new specs. The new 2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt was revealed at the Detroit Auto Show. This is a limited-edition vehicle which relies on the Mustang GT. The automaker released the car to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the classic Steve McQueen movie.
It features some modifications for its 5.0-liter V8 engine, including an Open Air induction, 87 mm throttle bodies and a Shelby GT350 intake manifold. These are extraordinary changes for 420 pound-feet of torque and 475 horsepower. The new Mustang reaches a top speed of 163 miles per hour. Furthermore, the Ford Mustang Bullitt features only two color options, namely Shadow Black and Dark Highland Green.

The car sports Torq-Thrust-inspired 19-inch five-spoke aluminum wheels in black, having a polished lip, no badges, and a faux gas cap. Hence, this Mustang is different from a standard GT in many ways. The vehicle features a six-speed manual with a white cue-ball shifter as its only transmission. Furthermore, the car also features all the GT’S Performance and Premium package options into one.
Molly McQueen, the granddaughter of Steve McQueen, launched the new Ford Mustang Bullitt. Furthermore, she also featured in a short film developed in the spirit of the classic car chase in the movie. During the launch event, fans were able to see another film featuring Molly when she was introduced to the Bullitt Mustang.
Mustang fans who consider purchasing the car can add the Bullitt Electronics Package, MagneRide suspension, and black Recaro leather-trimmed seats. Furthermore, the Bullitt Electronics Package features memory settings for the mirrors and seats, navigation, Blind Spot Information System with Cross-Traffic Alert and an upgraded audio system.
