Lenovo has launched its new ThinkPad which is an updated version of the previous model. The new ThinkPad focuses more on its user’s privacy with its webcam security covers. The ThinkPad T, X and L models feature the faster 8th-generation Intel Core processors. Furthermore, they also feature lighter and slimmer bodies.
The ThinkPad X280 is 12.5 inches thick while the new version is 15% thinner and 20% lighter than the older model. The new laptop weights 2.6 lbs. Furthermore, the L-series is 13 inches thick, and it is meant to facilitate the users who want a laptop in a more portable design compared to the 14-inch and 15-inch versions.

Depending on the model you choose, there are certain updates for each of the L, T and X line. For instance, the ThinkPad Yoga X360 features an infrared camera and an Active Pen. On the other hand, the X280 model has the rapid-charging feature. If you were to try out the 15-inch L580 or the 14-inch L480, you would no longer have new choices of their dedicated AMD graphics.
The T series features a ThinkShutter webcam cover. This will help users who are worried about their security and privacy. Furthermore, the device features universal USB-C power adapters, being easier for you to borrow another charging gear. All these revamped ThinkPads will be launched towards the end of January. The L380 will have a starting price of $609, a T480 will cost $989, a Yoga X380 will cost $1,459, and an X280 will cost about $999.
The new ThinkPad series from Lenovo will feature a lot of new specs, adapting depending on users needs. Now, you will no longer have to worry about your privacy when using a T model because it features a webcam security cover.
