Samsung Galaxy A8 and A8+ Will Be Launched in 2018

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy A8 and A8+ are the latest handsets in the Galaxy A series. Furthermore, they are the successors of Galaxy A8 2017. Both devices will sport dust and water resistant bodies with IP68 ratings. The Samsung Galaxy A8 2018 features a 5.6-inch Super AMOLED display. On the other hand, the A8+ 2018 will have a 6-inch Super AMOLED display, with 2220 x 1080 pixels, full HD resolution.

The A8 2018 model can be purchased only in the 4 GB RAM variant to which users can attach either a 32 GB or 64 GB inbuilt storage. However, the Galaxy A8+ 2018 model will be available in two different variants, with 4GB RAM and 6 GB RAM.

The front-facing camera of both smartphones has 16 megapixels with f/1.9 aperture.  The secondary front camera features eight megapixels and f/1.9 aperture. On the rear side, they feature a single 16 megapixels camera with f/1.9 aperture. The Samsung Galaxy A8 2018 has a 3000 mAh battery and the A8+ features a 3500 mAh battery.

Both of them can handle adaptive fast charging support. Furthermore, the company will also implement a new fingerprint scanner unit right on the back side, below the camera. Both smartphones feature an Octa-core Exynos 7885 processor under the hood. This processor is coupled with Mali-G71 GPU, and it runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. Even if Samsung did not confirm this rumor, it is likely for these devices to feature the Android 8.0 Oreo version.

These two smartphones will soon become available in Europe. You can purchase these gadgets in Orchid Grey, Blue, Gold, and Black colors. The Samsung Galaxy A8 and A8+ will cost $588 and $599 respectively. The new smartphones are meant to bring the latest technology advances. A whole new world will be at an arm’s distance, encapsulated in your new smartphone.
