The Moto Z has a wide selection of modular backings, but the most amazing one is the Polaroid Insta-Share Printer Moto Mod. The Polaroid Mod was first launched in February at the Mobile World Congress. This is a small photo printer that attaches to the back of your phone. However, unlike the rest of the mods, this one does not augment the onboard camera.
However, it features a cut out through which the Moto Z’s dual camera can take pictures. The Mod incorporates ZINK technology, helping you print 2 x 3-inch photos, either from the camera roll or your social media accounts like Google Photos, Instagram, and Facebook.
The Moto Z has now a new Mod
You have all these advantages without the need to carry around another printer. This is for sure a good deal, the device being valued at $199. When it comes to portability, it is pretty relative. Even if this is a smart and compact gadget, it does not look like it is going to fit in your pocket. Most likely, it will be a gadget that you will not carry around every day.
The product will be available starting on November 17th. The price may not be what others have expected since the latest Polaroid OneStep 2 is only $99, while the Fujifilm Instax Mini 9 is available for $70. However, most of the Moto Mods are not at all cheap. For instance, the Gamepad Moto Mod is $70 while the Hasselblad True Zoom camera attachment is $250.
Some say that due to its bulky design you could as well walk around with a proper instant camera because it would be the same thing. The Insta-Share will allow you to customize your photos with text, borders, and filters.
Summing up
The new Mod for the Moto Z will allow you to use numerous borders and filters before you print your favorite picture. The Polaroid Insta-Share Printer Moto Mod will help you nurture your love for photography anytime and anywhere.
