The New Water-Resistant Mechanical Gaming Keyboard From Razer

Razer has now fulfilled every gamer’s dream with the new mechanical gaming keyboard that is water- and dust-resistant. Hence, if you are a clumsy person and you have already changed more keyboards than you have wished to due to spilled drinks, this is what you need.  The BlackWidow Ultimate gaming keyboard has an IP54 rating.

One of the cool things about this keyboard is that the backlit green LED keys feature lightings effects such as starlight, ripple, wave and many other customizable effects. Razer says that their new keyboard has an 80 million keystroke lifespan, using Razer Green Switches. Their actuation point if of 50 grams per click. What is even more amazing is that you can program the keys for on-the-fly macro recording.

Apparently, this keyboard has some competition since Corsair will also launch a snack-proof gaming keyboard with Cherry MX Red switches. This one will be only slightly cheaper than Razer’s BlackWidow, being valued at $99.99. However, the Corsair keyboard will not be dust-resistant. Furthermore, it does not even have the same level of water resistance as the new BlackWidow does.

The dimensions of the keyboard are 7.89-inch x 6.02-inch x 2.36 inch. It weighs less than a pound. You can find the new Razer BlackWidow on the website of the company, launching it just in time for some Black Friday gaming discounts. Razer argues that the new mechanical gaming keyboard will be available at a global level by December. Its price amounts at $109.99.

Summing up

The new water- and dust-resistant mechanical gaming keyboard developed by Razer will satisfy every gamer’s needs. From now on, you will not have to worry about spilling your snack or drinks while gaming. You will be able to rely more on your gaming setup.
