Technology advanced so much that automakers are finally able to develop automobiles that reach the 300 mph mark. The new Hennessey Venom F5 promises this incredible performance that makes any passionate driver’s heart skip a beat with excitement. This outstanding hypercar was unveiled at the 2017 SEMA aftermarket trade show.
This is the successor of the Hennessey Venom GT. However, the previous one has its design based on the Lotus’ one while the new F5 is a completely new model, built from the ground up. When automakers developed this car, they intended to make it the fastest one in the world. Rumor has it that the goal they’ve set is not only achievable now, but it tends to be inevitable.
The new Hennessey Venom F5 will make you feel like flying
The new hypercar is extremely fast, featuring a twin-turbocharged V8 engine with 1,600 horsepower. Furthermore, it has a seven-speed single-clutch transmission. The carbon fiber body manages to maintain the weight under 3,000 pounds. If you love speed and you are tempted to push so much power into the wheels than you will be faster than the wind.
Active aerodynamics will channel air in such a way that it will keep the car form flying. Hence, it will only take you 10 seconds to accelerate the new Hennessey Venom F5 from 0 to 186 mph. This means that the new hypercar would be faster compared to the current Formula 1 racers. Automakers indicate that the top speed is meant to exceed 300 mph.
However, the car would need to be equipped with an incredible set of tires to cope with the forces in play at those advanced speeds. The price of this car will start at $1.6 million. The automakers will only develop 24 such cars.
Driving would have a completely new flavor when you accelerate the new Hennessey Venom F5. However, since there will be only 24 in the world, you should start saving money for this purchase. The new car promises an out-of-this-world experience.
