Asus has sent invitations for a media event in Taipei, Taiwan regarding the product launch and the PadFone mini has already spotted in GCF (Global Certificate Forum) website.

Last September, During the launch of PadFone Infinity in Taiwan, Asus CEO, Jerry Shen had confirmed about this device and he said that the PadFone mini (a miniature version of the PadFone Infinity smartphone cum tablet) will be in market either in November or December.

However, not much details and specifications available in the GCF listing, but unlike PadFone Infinity’s 5-inch smartphone inside a 10-inch tablet, the PadFone mini will come as a slightly lower, 4.3-inch smartphone inside a 7-inch tablet.

There is no any trace of 4G LTE support in the listing, where it shows that the PadFone mini will be coming with the 3G connectivity only. But, it could be possible that the company might also reveal a 4G LTE supported PadFone mini along with this 3G device.

PadFone Infiity, the bigger sibling of the mini device has IPS display screen, 5000mAh battery, 2GB RAM, 32GB/64GB internal storage options, Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor with Adreno 320 GPU, 13-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front camera. When docked, it will use PadFone station’s 1MP front camera.

Although the device will be launched in an event at Taiwan, there is no any information available regarding the markets, where the PadFone mini will be available globally. The price of PadFone mini is not revealed anywhere, but we have to wait until the December 11’s launch event. Stay tuned on The Next Digit for more update on the device.
