The speculations of Android 4.4.1 KitKat was found a new proof today, which suggests that the latest software update is being rolled out to Google Nexus smartphones first.
The new report shows that few of Google Nexus 5, Nexus 4 ad Nexus 7 tablets has updated to the Android 4.4.1 KitKat firmware. Google-focused blog, 9to5Google revealed their website’s Google Analytics screenshots, which showed the visit came from the above said Nexus devices with the Android 4.4.1 OS from Santa Clara,California as the origin of the source, which is close to Google’s headquarters at Mountain View.
The report said that the visits from these sources began from November 15th and hinted at a mysterious device with the 4.4.1 update, which possibly could be a Moto X device.
Adding further proof to the rumor, HTC ROM developer LlabToofer also recently tweeted that the HTC One Google Play Edition smartphones to get the Android 4.4.1 KitKat (build: KOT49E) in near future. If that is true, then Samsung Galaxy S4 GPE, Moto X Developer Edition will also getting the update very soon.
This update is expected to fix some bugs and issues reported in the Android 4.4 KitKat such as Video playback quality, lockscreen, a broken dialer, non-working home button and quick settings issues. Stay tuned on The Next Digit as we keep up with the update as soon as possible.
