HP Reveals more Info on Elite X3

The Elite X3 was first announced in February this year, at the Mobile World Congress trade. We are eagerly waiting to find out more about it for quite a while. According to HP, the smartphone “combines PC power and productivity, tablet portability, and smartphone connectivity in a sleek and secure device that can dock1 with your screens and keyboards when you need to work big”. Sounds great to us!

What will it feel like to have a laptop fit in the palm of our hand? This first mobile device built specially for business ensures it will deliver tablet, laptop, and desktop productivity in just one small device.

The new smartphone weighs 194 grams and is only 7.87 millimeters thick. It has 64GB of internal storage, 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM, and a microSD slot for expandable memory up to 2TB. Also on the inside, it rocks the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chip that is fully capable of delivering 4K video.

Wondering about the authentication options? It has an iris detection feature as well as a fingerprint reader. And talking about the eyes, thanks to its 8-megapixel front camera, you can take high-quality selfies. The rear camera is an impressive 16-megapixel one. You’re going to take some amazing pictures with just your smartphone.

The screen is a 5.96-inch AMOLED that features a 2560×1440 resolution with Gorilla Glass 4 technology. It also has other excellent specs, such as a long-life battery, top quality audio, and wireless charging. Oh, and did we mention that it is dust and water resistant? Not that you would want to risk taking this precious device with you too close to damaging substances. Nonetheless, accidents can happen. Luckily, HP has your back on this one too.

Excited about the fabulous Elite X3? What do you think about the new smartphone from HP?
