As September comes near every year, the anticipation amidst the people grow and various rumors start swirling up over Apple Inc (NASDAQ:AAPL) products. According to the recent rumors, September might just see the launch of the nextGen iPhone. Apple iPhone 6s as it is being called, is expected to come with a few changes in the user interface, operating system, features etc.. Although there is no confirmation from the makers about the launch of the much hyped iPhone 6S, the expectation amongst the fans is on a constant rise.
Apple Inc. has recently released a few updates to its operating systems. iOS 8.4.1 has been rolled out for iPhone, iPad and iPod. The update fixes the majority of the bugs related to the newly launched music streaming service from Apple, Apple Music. In addition, OS X Yosemite 10.10.5 was also rolled out with fixes to Apple mail and other email servers. The update also fixed the glitch the users were facing while playing Windows Media Files on Quick Time Player. The company also releases a few performance upgrades for iTunes.
On the other hand, Microsoft has recently released Microsoft Translator for iOS devices. The application is available for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. The first version of the Microsoft Translator will provide the users with translations in over 50 different languages.
The Windows makers also updated Microsoft Outlook such that it can have a better integration with iOS. Microsoft’s OneNote’s iOS version also saw an upgrade being released in the recent past. Experts are seeing this as an intentional effort by Microsoft to bring the companies near.
Moving on to more rumors, iOS 9 is expected to have a swinging feature from a mobile network to WiFi, depending on the strength of the signal in case of data usage. This will not be an automatic feature, but the users will be able to switch it on or off according to their needs. The beta version of iOS 9 for the public still does not have this feature.
Other rumor hints towards a performance boost to iPad mini. The device is also rumored to bring in multitasking feature with split screen. With the rumors growing day by day, the expectations amidst the fans are also taking a high rise. The prices of the various models available in the market have been reduced at various places to make way for anything that might just come up this September.
Update your iOS 8, OS X Yosemite and iTunes
For iOS users, they can go to settings, then General and then click on Software Update. The update to iOS 8.4.1 is also available over the air. The OS X Yosemite users will have to check out the App Store and then update to OS X Yosemite 10.10.5. The update will be completed once the users restart their whole system. In order to update iTunes, the users will again have to log on to the App Store and then run the update.
