Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) has started rolling out updates for the minor bugs that were creating issues with iOS 8 and OS X Yosemite from Friday. Apart from the minor bug fixes, Apple has also worked on performance issues and promises that the updates will lead to a much improved user experience.
According to the reports, Apple has already rolled out iOS 8.4.1 for iPhone, iPad, iPad Touch. The major fixes in this section are related to Apple Music, which is still in its budding stage. The update is expected to fix quite a few issues with Apple Music like random appearance of album artwork, trouble with tuning into the iTunes Music library, etc. The new update will also allow the artists to comment on the album or songs via connect.
On the other hand, OS X Yosemite 10.10.5 has also been rolled out by the company. The updated operating system comes with fixes to the issues with Apple Mail and the other email servers. In addition, the update will also sort out the trouble with Photos app, GoPro App, the glitch while playing Windows Media files with QuickTime Player, etc.
The company has also released an update for iTunes, where in the latest iTunes 12.2.2 provides quite a few performance improvements. One of the major issues faced by the users was the lack of proper segregation of music files. The updates will also add a few new features to the existing systems.
Update your iOS 8, OS X Yosemite and iTunes
For iOS users, they can go to settings, then General and then click on Software Update. The update to iOS 8.4.1 is also available over the air. The OS X Yosemite users will have to check out the App Store and then update to OS X Yosemite 10.10.5. The update will be completed once the users restart their whole system. In order to update iTunes, the users will again have to log on to the App Store and then run the update. This is after a long time that Apple has released so many updates together.
On the other hand, the rumors about Apple organizing a heavy event on September 9 are gaining strength. The rumors suggest that Apple Inc. is all set to launch its next generation iPhone very soon. The much sought after next-gen iPhone is expected to be termed as iPhone 6S. It will be interesting to see, how Apple Inc. reacts?
