Flipboard adds onscreen alerts, with faster and updated iOS app interface


After incorporating iOS 7’s parallax effect to full-screen magazine covers, Flipboard has updated the iOS app with performance enhancements, much cleaner interface and some new feature.

Most refined and polished app in Apple App Store, Flipboard’s updated version 2.1 iOS app is now available to download for iPhones, iPads and iPod Touchs. This update, however doesn’t give any huge details in changelog, but updated with a new feature which will show you onscreen alerts for incoming feeds to keep yourself updated. The updated app will utilize the big screens of iPhone 5, 5s & 5c screens by adding more tiles on its homepage and also provides you the ability to adjust the text size inside the app with few more bug fixes.

Although the Flipboard developers enhanced the performance of the app, the 64-bit devices with Apple A7 chipsets such as iPad Air and iPhone 5s will give you even faster experience. The Flipboard 2.1 update is available in App Store right now, Download it now.
