Amazon, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) – It’s going to be a scintillating year ahead for all the Kindle e-book reader owners, Kindle is soon going to commence its new service that’ll allow its users to brag about their favorite books or book quotes while socializing with their friends through WhatsApp, Facebook, Twitter, texting and more.
This initiative will certainly set a trademark for publicizing means of private sharing, as a means of connecting with your acquaintances as compared to other social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter.
In an announcement, Amazon’s Senior Vice-President Grandinetti said, the perfect quote in a book isn’t always perfect for your whole social network. Although the service was already successfully linked to Facebook and Twitter accounts, but it is going to be further expanded according to the formulated action plan.
With this additional service being added on to the Kindle – users preferred list, not only the Kindle – readers are going to get benefited out of it, but also various Book club groups can gain of the situation by fostering the private sharing option, while engaging in a deep conversation about the current title you are reading via messaging apps or emails.
Russ Grandinetti, Senior Vice President, Kindle, said in a statement:
“The perfect quote in a book isn’t always the perfect quote for your whole social network. Now it’s easy to share exactly what you want in a Kindle book with exactly who you want. Kindle makes it easy to chat about the books you’re reading, whether it’s making a recommendation or sparking a conversation about a quote you loved. And friends who receive the share can instantly start reading a free sample of the book—no sign-up, no sign-in, and no app to install.”
You can also share your book recommendations in your own special way by contacting those friends whom you think that they will happy with your selection of books and would thoroughly enjoy it, unlike posting a status update on Facebook. The upgraded feature which is immediately available on Kindle for Android also allows you to share quotes, highlights as well as recommendations with specific friends. However, the company says, Kindle e-readers and other devices are expected to be made available with the rest of the support later this year.
In addition to sharing book quotes, if you receive a book recommendation, you can immediately start reading it without any prerequisite like installing an app or signing into your account with your tablets or PC’s, Amazon quoted. You can access a free book previewer in your mobile phone browser, this may later seem to be possible via just an upgrade, but the forecast says that Amazon can lead to a massive hike in Kindle’s yearly sales.
