Apple’s full-sized latest iPad Air tablet will be available to US Cellular customers from November 8 onwards, announced the carrier on Friday and the very same day C Spire and Bluegrass Cellular subscribers will also get the tablet.
US Cellular will be selling the Wi-Fi + Cellular variant of iPad Air to their customers at their website along with some eye-catching tariff-plans. Starting from $5 a month, iPad Air users will get a 300MB internet per month. There are other plans which will take $10, $20, $30 till $335 per month for 1GB, 2GB, 4GB till 50GB mobile data per month respectively. iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c will also be launched for US Cellular subscribers on November 8.
Regional carriers such as C Spire and Bluegrass Cellular also announced iPad Air for their subscribers in US. In a surprising move, the other major carriers – Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint and AT&T has not revealed the launch date or price and plans yet. C Spire and Bluegrass Cellular not revealed the tariff-plans yet but the first one promised the subscribers that it will bring the iPad Air “with attractive data plans“. After learning their previous plans of C Spire, expected data tariff would be 1GB for $20, 3GB for $30 and 5GB for $50 per month.
Apple unveiled the iPad Air on October 22 along with the iPad Mini with Retina display and the Wi-Fi+ Cellular iPad Air model has the price tag of $629 for 16GB, $729 for 32GB, $829 for 64GB and a whopping $929 for 128GB storage space with 2 color options – Space Grey or Silver.
