Facebook tries to bring up Facebook Home, its most criticized and low rated android app since the launch with new update, where the software will be integrated with Tumblr, Pinterest, Flickr and Instagram posts in the home screen launcher.

Earlier released only for the users of Facebook’ for Android beta program, the new social integration now available for selected high-end smartphones such as Samsung Galaxy S4, S3, Note 2, Nexus 4 along with HTC’s One, One X, One X+, First devices. Apart from these device requirements, Facebook Home also needs Android 4.0 and later version of mobile OS.
The latest update will bring some more new features added to the core Facebook app too. You can swype right and you will see a lock near your name, when tapped on it, you will see your privacy shortcuts. The new update allow to set reminders for upcoming episodes of TV shows on participating pages for users in U.S. Apart from new features, the company has managed to fix some bugs in this update.
I can see some positive reviews and stars in Google Play store after this social integration, but it’s upto you to decide, whether to try it or not. Are you going to use the Home app?
