More often than not educated individuals are expected to at their best, and if in case you end up winning a Nobel Prize, then the world kind of a starts to believe in you. And standing in a similar sort of situation, if you start making sexist remarks, then I believe it’s time for you to fall back and learn a few more things about respecting women. The man, who has already earned himself quite a reputation for being a chauvinist, is the Nobel Prize winning biochemist Tim Hunt. According to the statement made by the Nobel Prize winning biochemist Mr. Tim Hunt, Women in a laboratory are nothing but just distractions. This is what the Nobel Prize Winning biochemist precisely had to say about women in a laboratory and his experience, “Let me tell you about my trouble with girls, three things happen when they are in the lab, You fall in love with them, they fall in love with you and when you criticize them, they cry.”

The comment made by Mr. Tim Hunt does not put him in a great position at all as most of the major female personalities in the field of science have spoken up against the words of the Nobel Prize Winning biochemist. Things went really bad, when Mr. Hunt clearly claimed that he was in favor of single-sex labs. Now, what do you mean by single sex labs? Many individuals have taken this as a statement related to disrespecting women and their work culture.

The Royal Society has stated that although Mr. Tim Hunt is their member, but the statement made by him is nothing near to what they think. In fact, the Royal Society believes that more and more female individuals should be brought into the field, as they possess a complete different way of looking into things.

As it seems, women have found a perfect way, i.e., #distractinglysexy to portray what they actually do while they are working in their own compounds.
