Unlike iOS 7 and 8, which mainly overhauls in design and appearance, iOS 9 is expected to focus more on stability, bug reducing and other errors. In iOS 9, there are two major changes are expected to be announced. The first one is the Proactive, similar to Google Now, draws various information from ‘contacts, apps and maps’ and brings them to the users at the right time. Apple Maps: Till now, Mapping are the one of the main fields where the company hasn’t come even close to what maps giants such as Google and Nokia have achieved from their products. Now, Apple seems to be determined that it has turned the ride toward the Maps and acquired two popular transit apps, Hopstop and Embark. From this, we can assure that Apple Maps will soon have a transitional feature in it and along with several upgrades to the Apple maps. The rumors indicate us that, Apple Maps will be soon integrated in the Apple Watch and it will help Apple to compete with Google Maps too.

More Apps for Apple Watch: We all know, Apple Watch is the new child of Apple in wearable technology and already sold more than 2 million units. The device has been forecasted for about 30 million unit sale for the year 2015. Till now, there is very less amount of application are surfaced for the device, while compared to other smart devices. In order to fix this, Jeff Williams, SVP of Operations confirmed us that the company will announce Native developer tool for Apple Watch. The toolkit allows the developer to create applications for Apple Watch, and allows them to access all powerful sensors on the device.

Apple TV: Recent reports from Apple’s plans shows us, Apple TV release plans have been shelved and the rumors say that, Apple has been currently working on a new hardware with a reloaded interface to provide hassle free streaming services.

Apple Music: The launch of Apple Music (a music streaming service like Spotify) is a great news for fan boys of the innovative company, which guarantees their products to be extremely intelligent and user-friendly. According to the rumors, Apple will be pre-installing Music in iOS 9 with upgrade option and the company will be giving 3 months free trial to win subscribers. Sony CEO confirms the launch of Apple Music streaming service.

  1. App slicing is not available for iOS 9 apps due to an issue affecting iCloud backups created from iOS 9. When a customer downloads your iOS 9 app, they will get the Universal version of your app, rather than the variant specific for their device type.
