Despite the rumors of poor Galaxy S4 sales, Samsung Mobile’s chief executive JK Shin revealed the actual sales figure of Samsung’s flagship smartphone. JK Shin said to Korean media that the company has sold more than 40 million Galaxy S4 till date.

Previously, Samsung announced that it has sold 1o million S4 devices in just one month of release date and it also revealed that 20 million Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphones have been sold by the end of June (2 months after release) and surpassed the 30 million mark in four months after the launch.
Currently, the company seems to be working on launching the Galaxy S4 successor, may be a brand new S5. However, it’s been reported that Samsung is keenly working on solving battery swelling and overheating issues by working with different battery manufacturers. The 40+ million sales might not be the numbers the company expected, but its satisfactory. What do you say?
