HomeKit has been designed in a such a way that the set of tools will work in tandem with iOS 8 software and the smart home devices that we have. The home automation software was announced last year by Apple Inc. at its conference and since then it has attracted quite some attention. But, no compatible devices with the software has been launched till now.

According to a statement made by Turdy Muller, an Apple Inc. spokesman, “HomeKit has been available for just a few months and we already have dozens of partners who have committed to bringing HomeKit accessories to market and we’re looking forward to the first ones coming next month”

Although, Apple has confirmed that the compatible devices will be in market from June, but we have not yet been informed as to where the compatible devices would be sold. Some individuals have even raised questions stating that it would not be possible for Apple Inc. to launch the compatible devices until the late August or the early September. With the rumors rising, we will have to wait and see, how things turn out.
