Nintendo officially announces its entry into mobile gaming, to launch 5 games by 2017


The much awaited words finally comes through from Nintendo as the game maker has officially announced that they will release at least 5 games for the smartphones by the end of 2017. The announcement was made by the company during an investor presentation in Japan on Friday. The entry into the mobile gaming world can very well be the effect of the deal that Nintendo has had recently with a mobile game company DeNA this March.

The anticipation has taken a ride uphill with the announcement by Nintendo. According to the statement of Nintendo President Satoru Iwata, the company is looking forward to release at least 5 games by the end of March, 2017. He also added that the games for the mobile platform will not be exact replicas of the ones we have seen. Instead, the development will be done keeping in mind the platform and the touch interface.

The president also added that the number might just seem a bit less, but at the moment they are looking forward to work on one game in order to reach the state of perfection that Nintendo is known for. The main aim to to put through the games to the users when they are sure that each one of them will be a hit.

The experts believe that with the official announcement already made, it might just be a matter of time, when Nintendo releases its first game for the mobile platform. Some of the enthusiasts also believe that the year could see the launch of the first game. Well, this is certainly what every fan would expect, but Nintendo has still not made any promises with regard to the dates of the launch.
