It is good times ahead for Samsung users as the Asian giant is rolling out an upgrade to Android Lollipop 5.0.2. This comes roughly after a month or so since Android Lollipop was rolled out to Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5. The update is one of the many Android Lollipop upgrades that are being rolled out by the Asian smartphone maker. According to the reports, the upgrade will only be available to the South Korean users initially, but is expected to reach out to the global customers in a few days time.
The upgrade to Android L on Samsung Galaxy Tab S’ Wi-Fi only version comes as a major boost to the device. Thus adding a much needed advantage over the LTE version of the 8.4 inch Samsung Galaxy Tab S model. Sadly, the owners of the LTE version of the will have to wait a bit more as there is currently no news about any sort of upgrade to it.
The update to Android Lollipop 5.0.2 will be available to the users on the air as well as via Samsung Kies software. The users can check out whether the upgrade is available by clicking on Menu, then settings, followed by About device, Software update. If the update is available, then all that is needed to be done is click on the update button. The update will be available in some time as the countdown has already begun.
