Turtle Beach Corporation has rolled out its range of gaming accessories, including keyboards and mice, and is available at select North American outlets retail stores. The 40-year old company, is a popular player in the gaming industry for its range of PC consoles and headsets.
The company begins its latest venture with a range of gaming keyboards, gaming mice and gaming keyboards. The accessories feature unique features for professional and casual gamers. Keeping budget consumers in mind, there are a variety of accessories, manufactured with steel reinforced chassis for keyboards, Avago sensors and Omron switches for mice, and a range of textured and sized mousepads.
Turtle Beach’s gaming keyboards include Impact 700 Premium Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with illuminated keys, Cherry MX Brown switches and two USB 2.0 ports. The keyboard priced at $200 has audio pass-through capability, compatible on Mac and PC. Other keyboards like 500 Mechanical gaming keyboard and Impact 500 Gaming keyboard, without Cherry Switches have been released.
The company’s flagship Grip 500 Premium Gaming Mouse, priced at $70, features a 7-button scroll for professional gamers. Other features include Omron switches, Avago 9800 laser sensors and DPI settings of upto 8200 DPI. The mouse can save 50 macros, with 100 commands each. The Grip 300 optical gaming mouse features a five button scroll wheel and a downgraded version of Avago 3050 optical sensor, due to its low-cost. The mouse includes Omron switches and is limited to 170 DPI.
A new Microfiber gaming pad, priced at $35 features a high quality micro-fiber rubber surface, to prevent the gaming mouse from slipping. Another mousepad called the Traction Textured Control Surface mousepad with high-quality textured weave surface, is priced at $35.
