In a move to calm down online players of Grand Theft Auto V for gameplay issues, Rockstar games has planned to give its $500,000 as in-game currency. After the recent update from Rockstar for gameplay issues, the “stimulus package” is for online users who faced technical problems while using the game’s online mode.
“For players who exeprienced cloud server errors, connection issues and lost game progress and characters in these first days of GTA online, we hope this GTA$ helps to facilitate a fresh start or makes your continued life in Los Santos and Blaine country extra sweet,” said Rockstar in their blog.
$10 real Dollars can be redeemed for $500,000 in-game dollars. The package would be received by everyone in two installments, said Rockstar. Some of the issues will also be sorted out by an upcoming patch. The first payment would be released by the end of next week, though Rockstar did not announce when the patch would be released.
Yesterday GTA V was awarded six world records by Guinness. The awards included the fastest entertainment product to receive $1 Billion Dollars in sales. The games is expected to be released for PC next year, as the game is available only for Xbox and Ps3 currently.
