Apple’s large-screened iPad Pro to be released in 2015: Rumored specs and features


Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) – Till now iPad Air is supposed to be a bigger tablet, but the whole scenario will be changed by Apple’s launching of iPad Pro with its bigger display of 12.2 to 12.9 inches. The upcoming iPad Pro powered with 12.2 to 12.9 inches of ultra-high resolution display and also with Apple’s new A8X processor as well as 2 Gigabytes of RAM. The iPad Pro comes with Touch ID, iOS 8 and also with color combinations such as White/Silver, White/Gold and Black/Space Gray. As far as the information that has been leaked over various internet blogs, Apple has been extending its business plan by releasing lots of larger devices. Apple iPad Pro might come with powerful configuration, as per the expectation of Apple fans.

Internet leaks suggest that, Apple new upcoming iPad Pro might look similar in size while comparing that with Apple 13-inch MacBook Air. In other hand, it is strongly believed that the device will look closely resemble to iPad Air 2 as well as iPad Mini 3. It comes with usual iPad features such as Touch ID, Wi-Fi and so on. The device bundled with ultra-high resolution display resolution, microphones at the top as well as the bottom edges of the devices. Rumors were saying that, the new device might come with an option stylus.

In more detail, rumors regarding iPad with larger screen first surfaced on the internet in mid-2013 and also that suggest Apple to work more on larger screen iPad. The news started to spread throughout the year 2013 and till August 2014, Bloomberg indicates that Apple will release a new larger iPad in early 2015. And due to Apple iPhone 6 Plus delay in production, the new version of iPad is still in discussion by the Apple Inc.

Display: The upcoming iPad comes with a resolution of 2732 x 2048 pixels and comes with a ppi (pixel density) of 265. Various rumors say that the new upcoming iPad Pro may come with 12.2 inches of screen instead of 12.9 inches of screen. Internet leaks said that the device comes with higher pixel densities in order to match high definition quality.

Design: The upcoming iPad Pro has a unique design with a new appearance and new elements in the exterior look. The device has an ultra thin design with side bezels, and with 7 mm of device thickness. We all know that, Apple has been constantly working to reduce the thickness of the device and the new device might feature with 7 mm of thickness.

One more interesting thing about the upcoming iPad Pro is that, the device comes with microphones as well as speakers on both sides of the device for more enhanced audio experience.

Processor and RAM: The upcoming iPad Pro powered with Apple new triple-core processor A8X processor, that has been previously introduced by iPad Air 2. While comparing A8 processor, A8X processor comes with a brilliant performance and in addition to that, it is 55% faster than the A8 processor. The rumors say that, Apple may implement its new A9 processor in its upcoming device, and is likely to have 2 Giga-Byte of RAM.

Connectivity: The iPad Pro bundled with the same features that are found in the iPad Air 2 such as 802.11ac Wi-Fi, LTE Advance with both Cellular + WiFi models, LTE with connection speed up to 120 Mbps. Like iPad Air 2, the iPad Pro comes with motion coprocessor, gyroscope, accelerometer, GPS, barometer and other sensors. The device will surely come with Touch ID, since Apple is implementing Touch ID right from iPhone 5s.

Operating System: Apple iPad Pro will feature with iOS 8 and Apple has plans to release the device with an upgraded version of iOS 8 with split screen multitasking too. This feature allows the users to run two apps parallel without any sort of hassles and in the meantime, you can split the screen with 1/4 and 3/4 of the screen to run other apps simultaneously.
