Google (NASDAQ:GOOG) and Twitter (NASDAQ :TWTR) made a crucial decision and bring out a new partnership with them. This provides a new way for making tweets to be got displaced over the search engine.
Announcement of new service offers a different way for the tweets over the microblogging service and could be easily find over the world’s most popular search engine. The main thing is that, if a person seems to be familiar with a particular matter, then Google will provide him millions of tweets in the search engine results. The partnership was announced by Bloomberg and the main part of this is that, both Google and Twitter got struck in 2009 by the same deal only. Due to financial agreement issues, the two companies could continue the deal and it ended abruptly in 2011.
Doug Anmuth, an analyst at JPMorgan said in a note to investors as,
The deal means “more opportunities for Twitter to convert, and possibly monetize, logged-out users,” he said. It will also increase the frequency that people with Twitter accounts check the site, he added,“For Google, we believe search results will be enhanced by access to real-time tweets and a much broader amount of content,” Anmuth wrote.
Recently, Twitter has argued to increase the reach for the users and also for those people who doesn’t log in to their users. The deal with Google is likely going to be discussed with investors and Twitter is in more concentrating in increasing its user count.
Facebook, a powerful competitor for Twitter, has nearly more than 5 times of Twitter users and if that continues, it would be a tough year for Twitter. And also Twitter is implementing various levels of tools for improving its reach.
