One of the many lesser known facts about the United States President Barrack Obama is that apart from being a good leader, he is also an Apple Inc. ‘fanboy’. Interestingly, he is also one of the first few individuals in the United States, who got a look at the first iPhone, before Steve Jobs even announced it. The reports come in as President Obama’s Political strategist, David Axelrod, is all set to pen down a book named “Believer: My Forty Years in Politics”.
According to the Axelrod, the meeting that Mr. Obama had with the Apple Inc. CEO, Steve Jobs had left a deep impact on the man. There was a complete change in the attitude. It was during the meeting, when Mr. President had the look at the first model of iPhone. According to the accounts provided by Obama’s political strategist, The President believed straight away that iPhone will do great business as and when it is launched. To be further precise, Axelrod accounts that Mr. Obama even wished to buy a large section of shares of Apple Inc., if only it were legal.
There are possibly two things to note from the accounts put forward by David Axelrod. Firstly, the impact Steve Jobs can have on any individual and secondly the effect that the first iPhone had on its users. There is no doubt about the fact that the first iPhone model was one of the best in the scenario. Even Mr. Jobs mentioned this a few times that they will never be able to create the first iPhone ever again.
David Axelrod’s book is due to be launched on February 10 and many individuals will be looking forward to many more interesting insights that comes from it.
