Microsoft’s Windows Phone operating system platform for smartphone has been reached 9.2 percent in Europe market. In France and Britain, windows operating system market share is over 10.8 percent and 12 percent respectively.
Recently, Nokia sold it’s mobile handset business to Microsoft. Nokia’s Windows phone has now boom in market with brand its brand name Lumia which is liked by youngster for using Xbox 360, a gaming platform comes in Windows Phone. Even, earlier this month Microsoft released Xbox Music, a cloud based music storage apps which used by many device at once.
Kantar analyst Dominic Sunnebo said:
“Windows Phone’s latest wave of growth is being driven by Nokia’s expansion into the low and mid-range market with the Lumia 520 and 620 handsets,these models are hitting the sweet spot with 16 to 24 year-olds and 35 to 49 year-olds, two key groups that look for a balance of price and functionality in their smartphone.”
Google’s Android, an operating system platform smartphones which is currently running on Samsung, Sony and Google’s Nexus Tablets. It is widely used operating system and world’s leading platform in mobile operating system for smartphone and tablets.
Andriod market share has been increased to 70.1 from 68.8 percent in this year. The Apple’s iOS which is earlier released iOS7 with iPhone 5C and iPhone 5S is come at second place having 16.1 percent shares in market.
BlackBerry Ltd signs letter of intent ( “LOI“) consortium with Fairfax Financial and they going to make company private have seen more halved in market shares. The market share of BlackBerry has been decreased from 2.4 percent from 5.8 percent.
