The launch of Mozilla’s FireFox OS today in Japan also saw the announcement of a new smartphone from LG. LG FxO is probably one of the most odd looking smartphones in the market currently. Just like as the name LG FxO sounds odd, the clear and transparent body of the smartphone will surely make you wonder. This extremely odd looking smartphone has been designed by Tokujin Yoshioka. The smartphone from LG will be featuring the Firefox OS and is to be launched initially in Japan.
LG FxO is supposedly going to be the first smartphone with literally transparent body. The first look of the images of the smartphone shows the interiors of the smartphone distinctly. You can easily look at all the internal configuration of the device without even taking the back case off. In addition to, the LG FxO also has a decorated home button with a golden colored Firefox logo.
As it seems, LG FxO is certainly going to be very different from the other Firefox OS phones. The best thing about it is that the smartphone will be available to the users at a very cheap price. The design is very simple and sleek having a lot in common with LG G3, except for the literally transparent case.
LG FxO is powered by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset. The device also comes with a 1.5 GB RAM, 16 GB internal memory and MicroSD card slots. The 4.7 inch smartphone sports a 8 MP primary camera and a 2.1 inch secondary camera and runs on Forefox OS 2.0.
The smartphone will also be having 4G LTE and NFC support, which is the first case for any Firefox OS smartphone. It will be available in Japan from January 6th. It will be interesting to see how people take on this literally transparent smartphone.[Source]
