Samsung is continually slashing Galaxy S5’s prices and there are rumors of S6 launch, the new edition and upgrade of the S series. Though there has been no official announcement, but geeks around the globe are hoping to get their hands on S6 very soon. Expected in the first quarter of 2015, Samsung Galaxy S6 will be the successor of Galaxy S5. The specifications and name of this new yet to be announced phone from Samsung popped up last week and we have brought you the latest findings for the same.
The rumored specs of the new model SM-G925F from the Korean giant include Android 5.0 Lollipop, octa-core processor with 3GB RAM and a 5.5 inch display with 1440×2560 pixels. It is also hoped that Samsung will add an SD card slot to help users increase its storage and enjoy more media and applications. Samsung is still keeping it off the radar so that it can really launch it well. The strategy to recapture the market and provide the consumer with something really cool is on its agenda since the release of improved iPhone’s from Apple.
Samsung Electronics is innovating under names like Project Zero where it is designing its smartphones from scratch. If all things go well, we are going to see the Galaxy series in a brand new avatar. The transformation is more likely to start from S6 onwards in the coming year 2015. Just wait for a couple of months and watch what Samsung brings in the market.
