The Xperia Z4 tablet will feature a 10.1-inch QHD display with 1440p resolution, though the company is reportedly working on a 4K (2160p resolution). The tablet will carry the speakers found on the Xperia Z3 Compact tablet and the specifications are similar to the Xperia Z4. Detailsof the Z4 Ultra are limited though the device will feature a 6.4-inch display and will come with a higher 2160p resolution.

The Z4 Compact will be launched alongside the above devices and will feature a 4.6-inch display with an upgraded resolution of 1920×1080 and upgraded hardware similar to the Z4.

Recently, Sony had appointed a new head for Sony Mobile Communications to revamp the lagging mobile business. The company also seems to have dropped the plans of only developing only two flagships per year and has started to focus on developing a new lineup with premium specifications in a move to win back consumers.
