Save the date for Verizon Wireless and Motorola are coming to you with 2 big announcements. A brand new smartphone, DROID Turbo, which was rumored for a few months is becoming a reality with the official announcement from the company. Also being launched DroidDoes.com, a website by Verizon Wireless on the very same day.
Motorola DROID Turbo’s specs and details were leaked a week ago. But both companies announced the formal launch date to be October 28. The new smartphone is the best in its segment as the DROID is significantly improved from its previous versions. The phone has a 5.2-inch HD display with a resolution of 2560 X 1440. The screen is fantastic, but the overall design is a bit like DROID smartphones launched in the past. DROID Turbo is laid with a 21MP rear camera, which supports 4k recording. Besides this the phone is scratch resistant and water repellent. It can stay under water for 20 minutes.
The flawless Android 4.4.4 KitKat runs on 2,7 GHz Snapdragon Quad-core processor and has a 3GB RAM. The internal storage is 32GB and the 3,900 mAh battery comes with wireless charging. The model is named Turbo not just for the fast processor, and amazing technology, but it also has a quick charge facility. The Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 technology and the Turbo Charger by Motorola enables it to get fully charged in just 15 minutes and last up to 8 hours straight.
