Joe Belifore, Microsoft stated that the company had witnessed the installation of a million copies and as many as 200,000 pieces of feedbacks have been received already. He also wrote, “As Terry mentioned on Sept. 30th, this is going to be a different Windows, we’re going to share our plans and progress with you earlier and more often as we want to build a Windows that everyone will love and really enjoy using.”

The new generation of Windows had been revealed at an event in SF last month. In the event, the company officials made it clear that Microsoft was seeking a vastly different approach to Windows 10.

The company has previously acknowledged the failure of Windows 8 but Windows 10 is definitely not a solution to right the wrongs of Windows 8. The features of Windows 10 will be different and engaging. The people who were used to working on Windows for desktop felt weird with Windows 8. It was a new interface for them and they could not get accustomed to it quickly.

Start Menu was heavily missed in Windows 8 and hence, Microsoft has improved its mistake and has re-introduced the Start Menu with Windows 10. Microsoft is seeking more feedback by the users as the final version of the Windows 10 operating system will be out next year.
