Lenovo unveiled S5000 Tablet with quad core processor, android 4.2 JB for $199

Lenovo has announced Lenovo S5000 today. It is an addition to popular S series by Lenovo. It is a high end smartphone that captures a 7 inch 1280×800 pixels screen with multi-touch input support. It provides 178 degrees viewing angle which means you can clearly view its screen from edges also. It is a sleek machine with 7.9 mm thickness and 246 grams weight only. Also it is carved with attractive flashy design that provides amazing looks to this smartphone.


It runs on Android 4.2 Jellybean OS with the collaboration of a mediate MTK 8389 processor that is clocked at 1.2 GHz frequency. To raise the multi-tasking level to new heights, it is paired with 1 GB RAM. This tablet features a 5 MP rear and 1.6 MP front facing camera. Both the cameras capture high class images with world class effects.

It provides nice connectivity mediums like USB OTG, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, 3G and 3.5 mm universal jack system. 16 GB internal memory is like icing on the cake. This 16 GB is enough for having huge data volume. Also internal 16 GB is faster than expandable 16 GB memory. This memory should be enough for all kind of users. It houses 3450 mAh battery that provides 8 hours continue browsing backup.

Price and availability of Lenovo S5000

Lenovo S5000 is launched in two versions, Wi-Fi and 3G. here are its pricing details:

  • Wi-Fi Only: $199
  • Wi-Fi + 3G: $249

It will be available from 4th quarter of 2013 which means it might hit global stores from this month itself. No details about international availability is known yet.
