Verizon is a massive carrier in the US and its decisions have been scintillating this year. The company had launched a feature known as “Advanced Calling 1.0” earlier this month. This service got really popular among the users and fans. However, it could apply to only two devices, namely Samsung Galaxy S5 and LG G2.
Verizon has now added iPhone 6 to the sheet too. The customers of Verizon who have upgraded their device for Cupertino’s latest handset are revealing that VoLTE is actually working on iPhone 6 as well as iPhone 6 Plus.
A user from MacRumors website was reported as saying that activating the VoLTE feature in the phone is a short process. The users need to activate the feature in the phone’s menu initially and then they can make calls without any hassle.
One important fact to note here is that the feature works only between compatible Verizon phones and it does not synchronize with the mix and match devices. However, Verizon has claimed a great applause for its work on the Voice over LTE support to the iPhone users. It will surely elevate the popularity of the US based carrier in the industry.
