Asus has just released the slimmest ever or the “worlds slimmest” Ultrabook known as “ZenBook UX305” which is 13.3-inch and thinner than Apple’s 13-inch MacBook Air.
The MacBook Air weighs 1.35kg, measuring 17mm at its thickest side. When the ZenBook UX305 weighs 1.2kg, measuring 12.3mm at its thickest point.
Intel’s new Core M “Broadwell” processor was integrated to Asus’s Ultrabook- ZenBook UX305. Enclosed with Windows 8.1, configuring 8GB of RAM, featuring 802.11ac Wifi, three USB of ports 3.0, a headset jack, HDMI port, SD card reader and supports 256 GB SSD and claiming 10 hour battery backup.
The Ultrabook has a display of 3200 x 1800 pixel resolution (QHD display), comparatively light in weight, designed as aluminum frame and is available in white and black colors.
Asus has also launched Eee Book X205 laptop along with the Ultrabook. Eee Book X205 is about 11.6-inch, measuring 17.5mm thickest side and weighs 1kg.
The processor in Eee Book is Intel Atom Z3735 powered by Windows 8.1 with Bing search engine. Configuring 2GB of RAM, built-in 32 GB or 64 GB solid state storage, featuring two USB 2.0 ports, a micro HDMI port, a micro SD card slot.
Well, this can be more suitable for students and for professionals to stay connected with social apps and emails as the expected price is around $265.
