The Moto 30 has a 1.56-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 320 x 290 with 205ppi while the Apple watch features a 1.5-inch and 1.6-inch retina display with sapphire glass build. Apple’s smartwatch has a premium shiny look and is smaller than the round and solid Moto 360. The Apple Watch is capable of inductive charging where a magnet pulls the device in its place while the Moto 260 is powered by a 320mAh battery with wireless charging.
The Apple Watch can only be connected to Apple devices from iPhone 5 to the latest iPhone 6 while the Moto 360 is compatible with smartphones running Android 4.3 or higher and connected via Bluetooth 4.0. The digital crown in the Apple Watch allows interaction with the device and the button under the crown can be used for viewing images, sending messages and calls including monitoring fitness activities. The Moto 360, though clunky carries a classy design with auto dimming feature, dual microphones and advanced heart rate sensors. The Moto 360 is priced at $249 while the Apple Watch is priced at $349 in the US.
