LG G Pad 8.3 complete features & specifications

LG has announced G Pad 8.3 tablet today. Talking about Pad 8.3 then it is the first tablet from LG in 2013. From the specs point of view, it is a rich device that is paired up with some unseen unique specs/software tools. They have announced it just prior to IFA 2013. It means they are going to come with first look of LG G Pad 8.3 later this week at IFA. They have also unveiled its official pictures.


Features of LG G Pad 8.3

It is an 8.3 inch tablet that comes with 1920×1200 pixels WUXGA 273 ppi screen. It runs on Android 4.2.2 Jellybean OS with a 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon TM 600 processor. It is nicely paired up with LPDDR2 RAM that scores 2GB in space.

It is going to houses dual cameras (5 MP rear, 1.3 MP front), 16 GB ROM and 4600 mAh battery. All these specs points towards a very strong tablet that is going to provide blazing fast multi-tasking operations.

Unique features in LG G Pad 8.3

It comes with 3 unique features:

  • QPair App
  • Slide Aside feature
  • Q Slide

Q Pair App can be used for integrating any Android smartphone with tis smart tablet. After interfacing the Android operated phone with Pad 8.3, you will be able to enjoy all smartphone features (mainly calling, messaging etc) on your tablet. This app works with smartphones that runs on Android 4.1 Jellybean minimum.

Slide Aside feature can be used for scrolling down any screen/app menu with a three finger swipe. So it will magnify the multi-touch properties.

With help of Q Slide App, users will be able to open multiple apps at the same time. So it is going to work in integration with multi-tasking properties of the system.

LG G Pad 8.3 Pricing and availability

LG hasn’t announced LG G Pad 8.3 price. They will launch it at IFA 2013. Hopefully they will announce its price in the same event.
