Times are past when only “Blizzard’s Hearthstone” and “Wizards of the Coast’s Magic: The Gathering” were the top shots when it comes to card games on iPad. A picture was tweeted by Josh Wittenkeller, a YouTube professional which showed ‘Pokemon Trading Card Game’ that ran on an iPad at the World Championship of Pokemon at D.C. After the picture is released, the officials of The Pokemon Company have nodded their head about the future launch of the tablet version of the game. They have also agreed that the Pokemon Trading Card Game would also appear in the market very soon this year.

The people who are addicted to Pokemon are fixing the game through the online version of the game which is quite old now. The best part about the game is that there is no extra charge for playing it. The new cards can be unblocked too, by beating your opponents in the game.

The experts are not able to figure out the functionality and features of the game that will be released for the iPad version though, but process scanning will be common in the game which will be done through QR codes and it can be made easier with the help of the cameras featured in the majority of the tablets.

If the news is true and if the company launches the Pokemon Trading Card Game app for iPad, it will be the first one that the company will launch for this device. However, there is no apt news about the game working on cross-platform. The probability of it working on cross-platform is high though.

The president of Nintendo stated past January this year, “The spread of smartphones does not spell the end of game consoles. It’s not that simple, and it doesn’t mean we should put Mario on smartphones.”

Nintendo is doing almost everything to elevate its handheld sales in the market by releasing the same games for smartphones as well as tablets. The users are now eagerly waiting for the Pokemon Trading Card Game to surface on the market.
